First Grade Habitats
Mrs. Kelly's first grade is learning all about the different habitats in which plants and animals live throughout the world. To demonstrate their knowledge on the subject, students were required to research the topic and create dioramas to depict their chosen habitat. Students were also required to give oral presentations about their habitat providing facts about its plants, animals and climate. The students then shared their projects with our principal, Mr. Mac Mahon, our middle school science teacher, Mrs. Kaznecki, and their friends in kindergarten, second and third grade. All were impressed with what they saw and heard from our wonderful first graders!
First Grade Family Bookmaking Project!
First Grade students and their parents came out for the Bookmaking Workshop (and pizza!) before spring break. Students are working on their own books with a little help from mom or dad. Check back to view some of our young author's and their completed books!

Reshaun can! Here he is showing off his counting skills by being the first to reach 1000 on his number scroll. Way to go, Reshaun!
