April Students of the Month
Barnard celebrated their April Students of the Month at the monthly breakfast. Students were honored for their exemplary demonstration of Respect, Responsibility and Safety. MYP students were also recognized for the Learner Profile of being a Risk Taker. The April awardees are Jessica J.- K; Jayla L. - 1st; Nuriyah J. - 1/2; Katimah M.- 3rd; Nassir S. - 4; James S. - 5th; Johnika W. - 6th; Anaya G. 6/7; Raven H. 7/8.

Be a Parent Mentor
Barnard is looking for parents who wish to support our classrooms and children through volunteering 2 hours a day. We have a collaborative partnership with The Southwest Organizing Project (SWOP) and through a grant, we can pay a stipend to parent volunteers who are able to participate with the minimum hours. Not Local? Want to Apply for Barnard?
Barnard Elementary provides Options for Knowledge seats for students outside of the attendance area if those seats are available. Any Pre-K families, not living in our attendance area, need to apply for admission through the Options for Knowledge program. For more information, click here.
